Premier Academy at Windermere, FL

Celebrating over 30 years, Premier Academy is a private school offering Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade and Summer Camp programs. Our natural home like setting on a quiet residential street offers a wonderful transition for toddlers into preschool and kindergarten. Our playground (called the “park”) sits under a canopy of beautiful oak trees with play structures, trike path, outdoor art studio, garden areas and separate toddler yard. Our children excel at the top private and public schools in Orange County. Premier Academy is the ideal setting for young children to learn.

OUR STAFF

All staff are credentialed and have long standing history in early childhood education.

Naomi Vergara

Director

Originally from New York, my family moved to Florida in 1994. Orlando has been my home for most of my life. I have been working with young children for over 15 years. My career began at Little Angels Preschool where I developed a passion for Early Childhood Education. I earned my CDA shortly after joining Premier Academy as a teacher in 2008. I then obtained my Director Credential in 2012 and became the Director.

Outside of school, you will find me with my husband and two daughters. We enjoy attending local community events and spending time outdoors.

Esther Grillo

Assistant Director

I am originally from Maryland but relocated to sunny Florida in 2004. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. In 1999, I graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Physical and Health Education K-12. After graduation, I moved to Boston and decided to go back to school to earn my Masters in Elementary Education. My experience includes teaching all ages from Pre-k through 8th grade. In 2013, I became the director of Cranium Academy Winter Garden, where I helped grow the preschool and develop their elementary program.

I spend most of my spare time with my family. I am the proud parent of one girl and two boys. We enjoy going to amusement parks and spending time outside. When I am not with my family, I am usually training for a marathon.
